I’ve had a few people email me asking about my hosting preferences. So I thought I’d offer up the same answer here – as the one I’ve been offering in private email exchanges for those who may be questioning the difference.

I use both, and they are nearly identical honestly.

I actually started out using Bluehost with MomGadget.com and that site is still hosted there.

When I began looking at developing a few other blogs, I was introduced to Hostgator by a friend and went with them because of their reseller account which comes in real handy if you have multiple sites you wish to develop or that you may eventually sell. I’ve also used my reseller package to host blogs for friends and family members too – to let them explore their own level of interest in blogging.

Aside from the fact that you can host multiple sites, you’re not gaining one thing from the next, and the pricing itself is almost the same.

First off, I LOVE this book!

While I may not be a large corporation that manufactures an actual product, there are a number of valuable tools and lessons that I’m able to utilize.

There are so many things you can do to free up an amazing amount of time during your day – when you read this, you’ll likely feel silly for having not thought of that sooner!

Who would have thought a simple alteration in the way you answer your phone could save so much time?

It can!

Another simple alteration to the way you spend your time can free up an enormous amount of time. Checking your email twice a day! Could you ever restrict yourself to checking your email just before lunch and around 4 PM?

That’s probably going to be a tough one for me, but I’m gradually working my way into the various recommendations of Tim Ferris.

I found Tim’s stories to be enlightening and encouraging. From his tales of early employment and getting fired because he found ways to get the job done in two hours when the boss thought it should take eight — to his building companies and outsourcing many of the tasks that consume a large part of a persons day.

No matter what you do for a living, there are tips in the 4-Hour Workweek that you’ll be able to apply to your own life.

It’s a quick read, especially when you get to the part where Tim actually shares an amazing tip on speed reading. You’ll find yourself not wanting to put this book down and if you do put it down, it’s only to run to the internet to research the weblinks that are shared throughout. As a blogger, you’re going to recognize a few of them, I’m sure.

This is a book about action! One quote that stands out above all is:

It’s better to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

To ask permission is to seek denial. And if you truly believe in what you are doing, why risk having it denied? If you’ve read 4-Hour Workweek, I’d love to hear what you thought!
